Dr. Jacky Ha Thai Promotes the Importance of Oral Health

Dr. Ha Thai, better known to us at Destination Smiles as Dr. Jacky, is a native of the Bay Area. She was born and raised in the East Bay (Hayward-Union City) and attended college at the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to obtain her dental degree (2005) and pediatric dentistry training (2007) at New York University. In addition to private practice, she teaches part-time at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry.

Dr. Jacky has a strong interest in oral health education and preventive dentistry. She works collaboratively with day care programs and elementary schools to promote the importance of oral health. She is gentle, warm, and patient, and often you’ll even hear her singing to her patients.

She is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Pediatric Dental Society, and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society.

In her spare time, Dr. Jacky enjoys hiking, running, yoga, and trying out new restaurants with her family.
