Dr. Louis Tieu Offers a Variety of Specialized Treatment

Dr. Louis Tieu was born in Taiwan and grew up in Rowland Heights, California. Upon graduating from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, he pursued advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery through a dual degree program with UCSF School of Dentistry and the University of California, Davis (UCD) School of Medicine. After earning his M.D. from UCD, he conducted his residency at UCSF.

Dr. Tieu’s expertise spans a variety of specialized dental care, including dental implants, dental extractions, evaluation and removal of wisdom teeth (third molars), corrective jaw surgery, oral medicine, and more.

He is also a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and others.

In his spare time, Dr. Tieu enjoys cooking, reading articles on mentorship, and spending time with his wife and three children.
